Check the comments for my previous blog posting, I apparently was featured in a blog on blogcarnival.com (full address here). The hits are pouring in, expect some advertising pop-ups soon. If I can get a nickel for every time somebody logs on, I might be able to buy a drink for myself on Friday…
So anyway, it was a good weekend in the ATL, Friday was Ashley’s birthday celebration at a restaurant called East Andrews (in buckhead, kinda). I will have Cameron host a guest column regarding our server, he could capture the moment better than I could.
Katie had conferences with half of the parents of kids in her class bright and early saturday morning, but naturally I slept in and then changed my oil (I’m getting faster, and can compete with jiffy lube regarding time but not on cleanliness). After that I met KJ at work, and we went with Cam to Panera (where of course we ran into some Dunwoody Prep parents but they were really nice). Saturday consisted of the following: some football, some Arrested Development, and of course some fishing. It was a really good afternoon for fishing, hopefully it’ll happen again next week…
Saturday night was more of the same, KJ was about to throw something through the TV (because “I don’t like football because the stupid bands are playing, and it’s too loud — Arrested Development is quiet and easy to take a nap”) by the time the UGA game was over. Granted, this was after a solid 6 hours of football, so I understand.
Good images from some of the episodes we watched (pictures from http://www.the-op.com).

I could go on forever, there’s probably 5,000 images on that site.
Sunday’s weather was also wonderful, but what’s the rule? Nobody wants to hear about the weather…
KJ and I went to waffle house, ordered some food (wishing we’d ordered other food) and then went to look at some antiques (I can’t really describe what she’s got her eye on, there’s a few different pieces — if she ends up buying one of them i’ll take a picture and post it).
After that, we (me, KJ, cameron and Jonny) did an abbreviated Golf School and then I had to head back to Augusta for flag football practice (we have game 1 of the tournament tomorrow, but we didn’t have a good turnout this evening. frustrating, but that’s a different story — this is a happy entry). So tomorrow consists of class, a little studying, then flag football. We play Wednesday if we win, a rematch against the good team in our class. Let’s hope that happens…
11 days till KJ’s birthday! it’s a celebration bitches…
