waiting to order a meal
figuring out where i’m going
to study Path with the greatest of Zeal
I saw a man in a suit
step up to speak
“dine in or carry out” she asked
his voice was a squeak
“I’d like two sweet biscuits” he chirped
“cinnamon or boberry” she said
he thought for a moment, then:
“let’s make them boberry, and I’d like to add a chicken leg”
I grinned and thought to myself
“I must be in downtown AUG;
nowhere else can you hear these words
at 10:23″

Now that I have that impulse out of my system, I think that “Two boberry biscuits and a chicken leg” would be a wonderful album title.
