Six from Blossom resurfaces??

September 26, 2006

I watched House on Fox, then the new show Standoff (well not exactly new, they’ve done a few episodes) came on — i could have sworn that Six from “Blossom” played a generic office character with 1-2 lines.
I don’t think it’s her (Jenna von Oy), I looked on IMDB and everything.

Anyway, House wasn’t too memorable.
This weekend was a lot of fun, Katie always makes Augusta enjoyable (we went to Bees Knees, hung out downtown for a little bit, and did some intensive cleaning of my loft). We met her parents in Madison on sunday afternoon and toured some houses/properties that the Jordans might purchase. There was a 7-acre lot with a nice house that was my vote (not that I get one…).

I started Child/Adolescent psychiatry yesterday with orientation (morning: 30 min, afternoon: about an hour) and then went for my first day today. It was really interesting, I’ll be taking care of 1-3 patients per day (rounding on them in the morning, presenting at Rounds at 9:30, participating in family sessions and other counseling) and will usually be done with clinical responsibilities by noon. We have lectures 3 times a week in the afternoon, and one day per week a student has to stay around campus until 4:30. Thursday afternoons, we have some sort of clinic responsibility.
Pretty much, it’s a lax rotation — 7:30-4:30 is the worst case scenario, and there’s quite a bit of sitting and thinking.
scruple alert
Last night, the Falcons/Saints game was terrible for the Dirty Birds (although it won me some money and put me up $3.79/3.6% on the weekend…quite a recovery from the debacle of the first part of the weekend).
Lookee here, how did I miss this Tuesday night UCF/Southern Miss college football game? Clash of the titans.
